
Patrick Hynes

Based in Washington, DC and Concord, New Hampshire, Patrick Hynes is the President of Hynes Communications. For nearly twenty years, Patrick has created powerful communications campaigns for corporate, association, government, and political clients. His ability to identify central themes and messages helps Hynes’ clients concentrate on business goals and strategies and stand out in an often complicated, dissonant marketplace.
A recognized expert in digital media, Patrick is a frequent speaker and panelist on the topic. He has addressed Harvard Business School, the Museum of Television and Radio, the Robert J. Dole Institute of American Politics at the University of Kansas, the Public Affairs Council, and multiple trade associations on the use of digital media in politics and advocacy.
Patrick is also a well-known political operative. He most recently served as an advisor to Gov. Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign. Previously, he served as an advisor to Republican presidential nominee Gov. Mitt Romney and Sen. John McCain. He has served as an advisor to American Crossroads, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and the Republican National Committee. Patrick’s other clients include Fortune 500 firms and many of the largest industry associations in Washington, D.C.
Patrick is a columnist for the New Hampshire Union Leader and is the author of the book In Defense of the Religious Right (Nelson Current).
