Poll: Trump Has Opening in NH on Eve of Rally Visit

As he prepares to hold a major outdoor rally in Portsmouth on Saturday, a new poll from data firm Zeeto shows President Donald Trump has an opening to win New Hampshire – a state he narrowly lost in 2016 – in November.

Forty-two percent of respondents to the poll say they back Trump in November while 30% are committed to voting for former Vice President Joe Biden. Twenty-eight percent of respondents are still unsure of how they will vote.

Trump lost New Hampshire in 2016 to Hillary Clinton by only 2,700 votes. Sources close to the campaign say they believe they can flip the Granite State in November.

Thirty-eight percent of the poll’s respondents were undeclared voters. Thirty-five percent we registered Republicans and Twenty-seven percent were registered Democrats.

About the poll Zeeto writes, “From June 3rd to June 30th, Zeeto polled 651 New Hampshire residents who are registered to vote in New Hampshire and expressed being likely to vote in the 2020 Presidential Election. We also adjusted our dataset to more closely align with gender and age biases in that specific state. Our adjusted dataset consists of 956 respondents. To adjust our original dataset, we split our respondents into four groups derived from a combination of age group (Over/Under 44) and gender.”
